A very easy exercise is to trace the “follow the money” trail of Mr. Sydney Williams’ half-page rant on Tuesday’s LDN editorial page. Perform an Internet search beginning with the parent company of our local newspaper to see that it ends inexorably at the corporate doorsteps of Exxon Mobile, the American Petroleum Institute and the Charles G. Koch Foundation.

A good question to ask Mr. Sydney Williams:

Why would the vast majority — 97 percent — of the world’s climate scientists “lie” in stating that the petroleum based industrialization of our planet is killing it?

Another good question for Mr. Williams:

Who are paying these scientists to “lie”?

And:

Who is paying you?
