Mr. Michael Anthony Tucker, native and former resident of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday.

 

Michael was born May 10, 1960 and was the son of the late Robert Reeves and Mary E. Varner.  He was reared in LaGrange by his grandmother, Mrs. Mary “Sugar Dot” Tucker.  He was a 1979 graduate of LaGrange High School and was a member of the basketball team.  He attended Saint Paul Baptist Church early in his life.

 

Local survivors include his son, Travis Demetrius Gray; grandson, Tawrence DaShaad Gray; sisters: Toni Weaver and Connie Askew (Rev. Chalton); many nieces, cousins, and friends.

 

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1:00PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 230 Highway 138 SW in Riverdale, GA  30274.  Rev. Gregory D. Ward, Rev. Abel Reeves, and Rev. Chalton Askew will officiate.  Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in College Park.
