Mr. Randy B. Pope passed away January 18th, 2017. Mr. Pope was a 21 year veteran of the U.S. Army.

He served in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive and earned a bronze star during his service. He retired as Sergeant First Class in 1982 and worked in insurance sales until his retirement in 2003. He was dedicated husband to his wife of 52 years Lucile Lane Pope who passed on August 26th, 2014.

He is survived by his daughter, Kellie L. Pope Bauer, her husband Anthony Aron Bauer, their children Aron Blake Bauer and Adrianna Lane Bauer, and by his son Thomas Blake Pope, his wife Heather Deann Thompson Pope and their daughter Kelie Elaine Pope.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be at Striffler- Hamby Mortuary Saturday in LaGrange from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday with Rev. Mike Hornsby officiating, followed by a graveside military service at Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery in Franklin, Georgia.
