Two men allegedly rob man at Lee’s Crossing Apartments

A man was allegedly robbed and assaulted at Lee’s Crossing Apartments, located at 119 Old Airport Road, on Monday morning before 6 a.m., according to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.
The victim told police he had walked outside of his apartment when he was approached by two black males, whom he believed to be in their thirties. The victim said that one male produced a handgun while the other produced a knife and demanded his wallet, according to the press release. The victim said that he handed the subjects his wallet, which contained an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
After a brief struggle, the subjects fled the scene in a white pickup truck of an unknown make or model, according to the LPD release. The victim was transported to Wellstar Medical Center where he received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
