Two women were arrested for allegedly swapping price tags and concealing items at the Walmart on New Franklin Road Thursday around 7:14 p.m. Police said the store’s loss prevention officer showed them a video of the first woman, 47, picking up and attaching a tag to a piece of clothing and scanning it.
The second woman, 23, grabbed piles of clothing and would scan only one item while tossing the rest into a bag with the only scanned item atop the others.
The total value of stolen clothes and school supplies was $265.95.
