Two people reported to police that two juveniles threw rocks at their cars near Dollar General on Colquitt Street Monday around 7:36 p.m. The first person told police that she was driving west on Colquitt when she heard a loud noise from the back of her vehicle.

When she stopped, she found a small dent in the driver’s-side back door. The woman said that after the juveniles threw rocks, she saw them run behind Dollar General, and then back across Hamilton Road toward Cannon Street.

The second person said he was also traveling on Colquitt St. when he was struck in the back of his head with a small rock.

He told police he then saw two juveniles running to the back of the Dollar General. He said his window was down when the rock hit him and that his car was not hit.

Man’s car damaged from egging

A man’s car was allegedly hit with eggs on the 100 block of Revere Court between 9 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday.

The man told police that when he left his house, he saw several eggs were thrown on his vehicle. One of the eggs caused a crack in the passenger side window.

The damage is estimated to be $200.

The police report says several other houses in the same neighborhood were egged, but no other homeowners filed a report.
