The Troup County School System has released the full list of activities upcoming in the month of September. Activities are highlighted below by day across the school system for the remainder of the month, and do not reflect a complete list of all school system activities for the month of September.

  • Open house at THINC College & Career

Sept. 7

  • Open house/Title I meeting at Berta Weathersbee Elementary
  • Callaway Middle vs Valley – football, away
  • PTO dinner, open house, Title I meeting at Ethel W. Kight Elementary
  • Troup vs Lamar County – football, home

Sept. 8

  • Callaway vs. Columbus – football, home
  • Book fair at Franklin Forest Elementary
  • Scholastic book fair at Hogansville Elementary
  • Fall pictures at Callaway Elementary

Sept. 10

  • Grandparent’s Day – system-wide

Sept. 11

  • Patriots’ Day – system-wide

Sept. 12

  • Open house/Title I annual meeting at Franklin Forest Elementary and Hogansville Elementary

Sept. 14

  • Fall pictures at Callaway Middle School

  • Hispanic Heritage Month begins
  • Callaway vs. Upson-Lee – football, home
  • Goodies for grandparents at Hogansville Elementary

Sept. 17

  • Citizenship Day – system-wide

Sept. 18

  • September caucus meeting

Sept. 19

  • LaGrange Mall READS Program at Callaway Elementary
  • Middle school drone competition at Callaway Middle

Sept. 21

  • LaGrange vs Central Carrollton – football, homecoming
  • September board meeting

  • Columbus State University presents FROG & TC at Franklin Forest Elementary School
