A woman’s Nissan Versa was allegedly damaged by having profanities scratched into its sides at the 500 block of Ridge Street between Wednesday at 11 p.m. and Thursday at 8 a.m. The woman told police she went outside to take her trash out when she saw scratch marks on both side and the hood of her car. The scratches spelled out profanities and the damage was estimated at more than $500.

Laptop stolen

A woman’s $350 laptop was allegedly stolen from her residence at the 800 block of Troup Street Thursday between 7:30 a.m. and noon. The woman said when she came home, she noticed the DVDs in her living room appeared to be tampered with and that her Play Station 4 was moved from an adjacent bedroom to the living room.
