Mr. William Guilford Newell, 62, of LaGrange passed away Tuesday at Pruitt Health Care in Greenville.

He was born Jan. 27, 1955, in Newnan Georgia the son of the late William G. Jr and Betty A. Broome Newell. He attended the Baptist Tabernacle and was a former employee of West Point Pepperell.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Kristie and Roy of Jackson, Georgia. Son and daughter-in-law, Bucky and Alicia Newell IV, Sharpsburg, Georgia. Two grandchildren: Madison Suddeth, Jackson, Georgia. Kinsley Upchurch, Jackson. Step grandson Will Norton.

Memorial Service for Mr. William Guilford Newell will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, from the Baptist Tabernacle with the Reverend Jimmy McMillian and Mr. David Looney officiating.
