Woman arrested for shooting man in forearm

Sue Swann was arrested after allegedly shooting a man on North Barnard Avenue Wednesday around 12:20 a.m. According to a LaGrange Police Department press release, officers found the man shot in the right forearm. While treating the victim, another man approached them and said Swann shot the man. Swann told police she thought the gun she used was a BB gun and intended to hit the second man, according to the press release. She was then arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Guns stolen from Dunham Sports
A man allegedly stole two Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380 handguns from Dunham Sports Tuesday. According to the police report, an officer reviewed the store’s camera footage and saw the man walk down an aisle and take pliers before going to the gun counter and using them to break the lock on the counter. After taking the guns, he walked out of the store. According to the police report, this was the same man who had earlier stolen Belk’s employees’ items including a wallet, Ghurka leather checkbook cover and an iPhone from the store’s office.
House burglarized, over $1,000 taken
A house was burglarized and $1,105 worth of technology and cash was allegedly taken at the 200 block of Peachtree Street Tuesday. The homeowner told police when he arrived home he noticed a table in a rear bedroom window was pushed over and a closet was opened.
The man said his 55-inch television and Amazon Fire Stick were taken from his living room and a PlayStation One and a jar of change were taken from his bedroom. According to the police report, officers found the man’s tablet on the ground in the man’s backyard and the backdoor unlocked.
