Mrs. Ada Beatrice Cameron, 78, formerly of LaGrange, passed away on Jan. 4 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Ada B. Kelley the daughter of the late E. T. and Mattie Patterson was born in LaGrange.

In 1959, she met and married Charlie Cameron.

Ada worked at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia for 32 years as a nursing assistant.  She earned many awards in healthcare and was a member of First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia.

Survivors include her loving husband Charlie Cameron; children, Diane Cameron, Monica Carter, Jackie Patterson, Faye Culpepper, Shirley Cameron and Terry Tucker, one brother E. T. Kelley; two sisters, Eva Simms and Ethel White; sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, special friends and best friend Bessie Paris.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her son Richard Kelley and grandson Christopher Downing.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rising Grove Baptist Church the Rev. Joannie Baskerville pastor.

The interment will be in Southview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of her brother E. T. Kelley of 813 S. Ogletree St.
