Dear Editor,

I would like to agree with Jerry Johnson about trash in Troup County. I believe they are the worst in Georgia.

Ride down any road or street in LaGrange or Troup County and take a look. Anything from napkins and lotto tickets to full bags of trash that has blown out of pickup trucks — which if looked into would have an ID inside.

We have school buses and patrol cars that travel just about every road daily in our county that could report items seen.

We have many laws to abide by, but any law not enforced is not worth writing in my opinion.
