Mr. Noel LaVonne Hand, age 71, of LaGrange, passed away on March 18, 2018, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. Mr. Hand was born on Oct. 20, 1946, in Lee County, Alabama to the late E.J. and Magdalene Hand. 

He proudly served his country in the Unites States Navy in Search and Rescue and retired as a meat cutter after many years with Food Giant and Kroger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joel Hand and a grandson Josh.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Irene Lowry Hand; two children, sisters and their spouses and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 4 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel. Family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home form 2 p.m. until service hour.
