Tires slashed on seven cars in one night

LaGrange police are investigating after seven different cars’ tires were slashed at five residences on Malibu Drive last week. The incident occurred between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.
The first victim told police that she found all four tires on her Nissan Vera and the two rear tires on her Ford Focus flattened.
The total damage was estimated at $600.
According to the police report, an officer believes the tires were cut with a pocket knife.
The second victim told police the rear tires to his Acura RDX and Toyota Tacoma were cut and flattened. The damage was estimated at $200.
Another victim told police her Kia Sportage’s front tire was cut. The victim said her boyfriend discovered the tire was slashed around 11 p.m. The tire was valued at $100.
According to the police report, a Ford Explorer’s rear tire was also cut.
The victim valued the tire at $100.
Two right side tires were slashed on a Ford Escape at a fifth residence, according to the police report. The tires were valued at $200.
The total damage of the tires is $1,200.
According to LPD Lt. Dale Strickland, an arrest has not been made yet.
