Marcus J. Ferrell, 36, passed away Friday at Grady Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 17, 1981, to Lamar Strozier and Maxine Ferrell.

Survivors include his children, Makell, Jordin and Laila; parents, Lamar (Delores) Strozier and Maxine (Rufus) Bailey; grandparents, Corrine Ferrell and Elkin Strozier, Jr.; three sisters, LuKisha Owens, Jaleesa Strozier and Megan Ferrell; four step-sisters, Jereh Johnson, Shayone Johnson, Camilla Bailey, Anica Bailey; two step-brothers, Adrian Green and Gerald Johnson; and an array of aunts, uncles, godparents, special cousins, family, extended family and friends.

The celebration of life service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at New Community Church.

The family will be at their home at 121 Adams Drive.
