Mr. Jerry Lee Smith passed away Friday.

He was born July 14, 1959 to the late Junior Smith and Frances Stargell Smith in LaGrange, Georgia. He was educated in LaGrange, Georgia, and was previousley employed by Duracell and Glovis. 

Survivors include his children:  Marcus, DeWayne, Fredrick, Brandon, Dezman and Tomeka (Markeis); 20 grandchildren; brothers, Freddie Stargell, Calvin Stargell, Tony Smith, Eugnee Smith, Lamar (Brenda) Smith, Stanley (Charlene) Shepherd; sisters, Cynthia (David) Heard, Joyce Finch and Linda (Willie Frank) Huzzie; sisters-in-law, Willie Pearl Copeland and Mary Cameron; uncle, J. C. (Bertha) Stargell; aunt, Claudette Stargell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and special friends.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mr. Smith is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
