On Tuesday around 10:29 p.m., the LaGrange Police Department responded to reports of a robbery at LaGrange Food Mart on Youngs Mill Road.

According to a press release from LPD, upon arrival, LPD officers spoke to the store’s clerk who said that an unknown black male went into the store brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The clerk reportedly gave the unknown black male an undisclosed amount of money before the man fled on foot.

The incident is under investigation by the LPD criminal investigation section.
