Stabbing reported on Banks Street

On Saturday around 6:20 p.m., officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing in progress on the 200 block of Banks Street.
A domestic dispute between a man and his girlfriend’s adult daughter had begun in a residence and moved outside into a park, according to Sgt. William Nelson of the LPD. The woman claimed the man had assaulted her and that she got a knife to try and stop the assault.
The man was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds which were “all over his body,” according to Nelson. The woman had superficial injuries. No arrests were made at the time of the incident.
Police are talking with several witnesses and the investigation is ongoing.
