Kathleen Boyd 

1943-2020

Miss Kathleen Boyd, 76, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020, at her home.

Miss Boyd was born April 14, 1943, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Thomas Watson Boyd and Lottie Lou Crews Boyd. She was a member of LaGrange First Assembly of God Church and was employed by Diverse Power as an Administrative Assistant before retiring after 31 years of service.  She is a Past President of the Women’s Division of the Chamber of Commerce and an avid Atlanta Braves fan.  Miss Boyd loved her family, loved her church and serving the Lord.

 Survivors include her siblings, Watson Crews Boyd (Susan Boyd) of Newnan, Georgia, Lottie Mae Boyd Jiles (Tyre Jiles, Jr.) of Villa Rica, Georgia, Tommie Lou Boyd Hadaway of Valley, Alabama, and James Lamar Boyd (Glennis Boyd) of LaGrange, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2020, in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Bob Gulley officiating.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests contribution be made to LaGrange First Assembly of God Church, LaGrange.
