Bessie Harrell Nero, a native of Lagrange, Georgia was the third child born to the union of Charlie Fred and Robertha Harden Harrell.  She was a child of God and became a member of Solomon Grove Baptist Church where she sang on the Choir.  Upon graduating from East Depot High School, she pursed her educational goals at Albany State University.  Bessie held a long-term career with Delta Airlines as a Senior Customer Service agent for over 22 years.

After her retirement, she held employment with the Fulton County School System as a teacher. She became a member of Woods Memorial Baptist Church in College Park, Georgia.  Bessie was an avid interior decorator and she loved tailored made fashions. Fond memories will be cherished by her sisters, Juanita Harrell, Jean Jones and Delores Harrell, a brother, Fred Harrell several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, a sister, Deborah Harrell and brothers, Nathaniel Griggs and Charles Lewis Harrell.  Graveside Services for Bessie Nero will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at 12  p.m.  at the family plot at Eastview cemetery. Rev, Crawford Strozier will officiate.  Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, from 10-11 a.m. at West Georgia Mortuary.
