One female in custody, another wanted after assault, robbery in LaGrange hotel room

UPDATE: The LaGrange Police Department said on Jan. 16 that the suspect in this case, Leanna Aileen Ziel Stoy, gave a false name. The LPD said the investigation determined that Foreman was at the scene at the time of the incident but did not participate in any criminal activity. Foreman is not a suspect in this case, and all warrants in her name regarding this case have been dismissed.

 


One female is in custody and another is wanted after a robbery occurred in a LaGrange hotel room Tuesday morning.

According to a LaGrange Police Department press release, officers responded to the Red Roof Inn, located at 2606 Whitesville Road, in reference to a robbery. The victim told officers that two females, one identified as Regina Foreman, asked him to come into their hotel room to talk about a cell phone that had been stolen from him by acquaintances of Foreman.

Once the victim was in the room, the females allegedly punched him in the face and knocked him to the floor. The victim said they took $160 from his pockets, as well as a bottle of Ativan and a bottle of Carisoprodol.

The unidentified female fled the scene in a vehicle, while Foreman was located in her room. The press release  said she was taken into custody and was found to be in possession of Hydrocodone and a glass smoking pipe with suspected crack cocaine residue on it, as well as the victim’s cash and medications.

Foreman was charged with aggravated assault, strong arm robbery, VGCSA possession of a schedule 2 controlled substance, VGCSA possession of a schedule 4 controlled substance (two counts), and possession of a drug related object.
