Jean Daniel Gray, a native of LaGrange, died in her home in Stockton, CA on December 24, 2016 at the age of 83. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Glenn W. Gray of Stockton, CA.  She is survived by her three children Laura Mueller (Bob) of Gardnerville, NV, Jenny Jones (Bob) of Stockton and Greg W. Gray of Stockton.  Her three grand-daughters, Megan Gray, Morgan Gray and Brooke Jones, and great-grandson Louis also survive her.

Jean was the daughter of professional baseball player, the late Jake Daniel, and Ruby Daniel of La Grange.  She enjoyed travel, journaling, gardening, baking and loved music.  Jean taught her local 4-H cooking classes and enjoyed dances with her husband Glenn at the Stockton Moose Lodge. She attended local Baptist churches as well as the Dunson Baptist Church of La Grange.

A memorial service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held January 19, 2017, 1:00 pm at The Home Church, 11451 N. West Lane, Lodi, CA (209) 339-7333.
