Patricia O. Clahan, 93, passed away Wednesday July 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born on February 18, 1924 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Theodore and Tatiana  Kobran.  She married John Benedict Clahan on November 6, 1948 in Saint Vladamir’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. They lived in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Boynton Beach, Florida before moving to LaGrange in 2003.  Patricia worked for Bell Laboratories in Edison, New Jersey and was a retiree of the Broward County School System.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband John Clahan; her brothers, Mike Kobran and Harry Kobran; and her sisters, Anne Mamczak and Mary Venuto.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Tracy Clahan Riggs; son-in-law John Riggs; grandchildren Sean Riggs, Katie Riggs, and Colleen Riggs; her bother, Charlie Kobran; sister, Sandi Wiegleb; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10 a.m. with a lunch in the parish hall to follow.

Flowers are welcome but in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
