Mr. Patrick M. Parr, 50, of 241 Red Oak Lane in the Piedmont community of Harris County, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Patrick was born Jan. 29, 1968, in Stone Mountain, Georgia, the son of the late William Thomas Parr, Jr and Mrs. Patricia Hudson Parr.

He was a 1991 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he was on the football team and was proud of being on the team while earning two national championships. Patrick was the owner and operator of Parrscapes and a member of Rosemont Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jennifer Parr, Piedmont community; son, William Pearson, Jacksonville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Caroline (Davis) Duggan, Statesboro, Georgia; grandson, Tucker Duggan, Statesboro, Georgia; daughter, Blakely Parr, Piedmont community; daughter, Savannah Parr, Piedmont community; son, Patrick M. Parr, Jr, Piedmont community; mother, Mrs. Pat Parr, West Point, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Tim Shearer, Atlanta, Georgia; brother, William (Bill) and Lee Parr, Lanett, Alabama; 11 nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randy and Libby Jordan, LaGrange, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Amy Waddell, LaGrange, Georgia.

Funeral services for Patrick M. Parr will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday morning from the Rosemont Baptist Church with the Rev. Max McCord officiating.

Interment will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at their home, 241 Red Oak Lane in the Piedmont community of Harris County, after the burial service on Thursday.
