Mrs. Otha Mae Askew passed away Thursday.

She was born March 2, 1940, in Meriwether County, Georgia, to the late Alfred and Julia Mae Copeland.

She united with Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

She graduated from East Depot High School in the class of 1958, and retired from Atlas Energy Products.

Survivors include her children, Derek (Patricia) Askew and Veronica James (Della) Florrie; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

The service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 110 Bell Street.

The excellent care of Mrs. Askew is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
