Ms. Thelma Brooks of Bronx, New York, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019.

She was born Feb. 28, 1940, in Five Points, Alabama to the late Anderson Brooks, Sr. and Mar Reed Brooks.

Local survivors include her sisters, Mary McCurty and Hattie Williams, both of LaGrange, Georgia; and uncle, Joe Reed.

The memorial service will be Saturday.

Unity Funeral Chapel, Bronx, New York, is in charge of the arrangements.
