Alex DeShun Cox passed away Tuesday at his home in Fayetteville, Georgia. He was born July 7, 1991 in LaGrange, Georgia to Alice Hand and Grover Cox, Jr. Alex united with Bethlehem Baptist Church, graduated from Troup High School, and was employed by UPS.

Survivors include his parents,  Alice Hand and Grover (Andrea) Cox, Jr.; siblings, Malina Cox, Carnell Kendrick, and Jalyn Cox; grandfathers, Deacon Charlie Hand and Mr. Grover Cox, Sr.; aunts, April (Corey) Ross, Beverly Jones; uncle, Terry Lynn Cox; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The Service will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Point. The family will be at their home at 213 Houston Street.

The excellent care of Mr. Cox is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
