Mrs. Lillie Mae Simpson passed away Thursday.

She was born January 19, 1948 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Steve Childs, Sr. and Lee Ella Magby Childs.

She united with True Word Praise and Worship Center; and retired from Duracell.

Survivors include her husband, Pastor Ruben M. Simpson, Sr.; her children, Ruben Simpson, Jr., Minister Connie (Pastor Tracy) Neal, David (Veronica) Simpson; eleven grandchildren; siblings: Virginia Fanning and Lewis Edward Childs; twelve sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law, and a host of great -grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The Service will be Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 98 Webbs Way Drive.

The excellent care of Mrs. Simpson is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
