Mrs. Olga Elaine Prather Cooper, age 80, of Hogansville, passed away on Aug. 30, 2019, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. Mrs. Cooper was born on March 3, 1939, in Troup County to the late Ed Walker Prather and Mae Emma Gibson Prather. She worked for many years at InterFace as an inspector. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnall Leroy Cooper; brothers, Edward Brice Prather and his wife Sylvia Prather-Railey and Albert Ervin Prather and his wife Florine Prather-Bowen; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Richard Looney, Felton J. Hill, Donald Leon Cooper; sister-in-law, Annie Laura Waldrup; special friend, James Morris. Survivors include her sons, Steve Cooper and Randy Cooper and his wife Brenda; brother, Ray Prather and his wife, Geraldine; sisters, Mary Fay Looney and Barbara Jewell Hill; grandchildren, Christopher Cooper, Michael Cooper and MaKenzie Seymour; great grandchildren, Carson Cooper and Brandon Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the Hunter Allen Myhand Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Bozeman officiating. Interment will followed at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
