Mrs. Martha Cleaveland Nix, age 90, of LaGrange, passed away on December 2, 2019 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Mrs. Nix was born on March 30, 1929 in LaGrange to the late Jack Cleaveland and Lovie Smith Cleaveland.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Marion Nix; grandson, James Creed; brothers, Phillip Cleaveland and Gilmer Cleaveland.  Survivors include her son, William Allan Nix; daughter, Mary Beth Creed and her husband Alex; twin sister, Mary Cleaveland Dye; grandchildren, Sam Nix, Brody Nix, Dawn Fuller, Jack Creed, Tyler Fuller and Hayley Atkins; nieces, nephews and extended family.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 12 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange or to the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hunterallenmyhand.com.  Hunter Allen Myhand, a Higgins Family Funeral Home, 706-884-5626
