Jane Evans Talley of Easley, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Born on Dec. 8, 1935, in LaGrange, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late B.A. Evans, Jr. and Ruth Harris Evans. She was a member of George’s Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children Dennis C. Talley (Patty) of Williamson, Georgia; Susan Cox (David) of Easley, Laura Tapp (Bill) of Central, Michelle Little (David) of Easley, and Chris Talley (Paige) of Easley and one brother B.A. Evans, III “Alec” (Martha) of LaGrange, Georgia. She is predeceased by her husband, Cecil T. Talley and eldest grandson, Matthew Cox. She was the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017 in Robinson Memorial Gardens, Powdersville Road with the Rev. Chase Blankenship officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the McCall Hospice House (1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680).
