High school students arrested for drinking alcohol at school

Two Troup High School students were arrested for allegedly consuming alcohol and acting disorderly to administrators at the school Tuesday afternoon. According to the LaGrange Police Department report, the students were arrested during school dismissal.
The school resource officer was notified that two students were in possession of alcohol. An administrator told the officer that a near empty 375 ml bottle of Hennessy was found in the first student’s possession.
The student told the officer it was his and that he was not going to tell them who else had any to drink. According to the police report, the officer had the first student and, soon after, the second one take Alco- Sensor tests.
The first student blew .16 blood alcohol content and the second one blew .20 blood alcohol content. According to the police report, the first student was uncooperative, made threats to multiple school administrators and the officers assisting and was kicking the doors in the front office during the arrest.
Dog bites film crew member
A film production crew member was allegedly bitten by a dog at a funeral home at the 500 block of Hill Street Tuesday morning. According to the police report, the man was bitten while asking the owner if they could take their dog back to their house because it was excessively barking. The dog was current on its rabies shot and is being quarantined at its owner’s house for 10 days.
