Shots fired into home, no one hurt

No injuries were reported after shots were fired at a residence on the 1400 block of Park Avenue Thursday at 1:50 a.m.

The homeowner told police she and her tenants woke up to the sound of two or three gun shots. According to the police report, eight victims were present during the crime.

According to the LaGrange police press release, the front door of the residence was shot three times.

The LPD is investigating the incident.

House broken into

A house was broken into and $93 worth of technology and drinks were taken at the 100 block of Gallant Street Sunday between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The homeowner told police when he returned the front door was unlocked and the kitchen window was open.

Items taken include a floor jack valued at $50, a government cell phone, jumper cables valued at $20, a handset for a wireless telephone valued at $20, a gallon of cranberry juice valued at $2 and a half case of Sprite valued at $1.

Entering autos occur

Two vehicles were entered in separate incidents.

A woman discovered her 40 caliber H&K USP handgun was missing Tuesday morning.

The woman told police that she last saw it on Dec. 25, but she usually does not check for it when she enters and exits the vehicle.

The woman told police she left her vehicle running unattended and unsecured during the weekend near the 800 block of Forrest Avenue.

A second incident occurred at the 200 block of Park Hill Drive. A wallet with $70 cash between Monday at 9 p.m. and Tuesday at 5:50 a.m. The owner told police the wallet was taken.
