With over 40 years of experience as a medical professional, he currently serves the community as a medical physician, EMS medical director and an instructor to EMS, fire and law enforcement personnel. He is the medical director for the Troup County Fire Department, LaGrange Police Department, West Point Fire Department, West Point Fire Department EMS Training Program and the 911 Advisory Committee. He also supervises the West Point Fire Department EMS Training Program, where he provides training to paramedic candidates at his medical clinic in LaGrange, the LaGrange Med-Center, LLC.

“We would like to thank Dr. Solt for his outstanding medical service to Troup County and congratulate him on this honor,” said Ellis Cadenhead, the district 2 commissioner on the Troup County Board of Commissioners. “He is an advocate for our citizens through his personable care and his extensive involvement with our residents. For example, he will often work through lunch just to provide care for all of his patients. He really takes initiative to actively reach members of our community.”
