Dr. Rob Greer, age 49, of LaGrange passed away on October 7, 2019, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.  Rob was born on April 17, 1970 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Stuart Greer and Phyllis Schulman Greer.  His father preceded him in death.

Rob received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.  He served his residency at the Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and began his practice at St. Luke’s Hospital where he served for over ten years.  Rob moved his family to LaGrange in 2006 where he continued to practice Neurology until his health would no longer allow him to continue. He counted it a great honor to be a part of the medical field where he could serve the health needs of his community. 

In addition to his mother, Dr. Greer is survived by his wife, Liz Greer; daughter, Chloe Greer; son, Stuart Greer; sisters, Deborah Greer and Naomi Greer; extended family and a host of friends. Services for Rob will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 9:00 am at the Hunter Allen Myhand Funeral Home Chapel, 506 Hill Street, LaGrange, 30241, with Rabbi Peter S.
